Bookings can be made throughout the year and places are allocated depending on availability.

The Centre provides childcare for children from birth to 8 years of age. Limited places are available for school aged children during school holidays.

Duration of Care

Duration of care is not limited. Permanent bookings are available. Childcare may be booked by the hour or by the day. 

Casual or “One-off” Care

Each day places may be available due to cancellations. Care can often be provided at short notice, so if you require additional childcare or do not have a permanent place, please ring  the Occasional Care Centre (Ph: 9438 2719) for “one-off” care enquiries.

Please see the staff in the office for an Enrolment Pack. A copy of our Policy Document is always available in our foyer.

• Children’s safety and wellbeing is our first priority at Occasional Child Care Centre. We want all children to be safe, happy, included, empowered, supported and respected.
• Our service is committed to preventing child abuse, identifying risks early, and removing and reducing these risks. We have zero tolerance of child abuse, and all forms of harm to children and safety concerns will be treated very seriously.
• We follow our duty of care and legal obligations to contact authorities when we are worried about a child’s safety and adhere our strict legal and moral obligations to contact authorities when we are worried about a child’s safety.
• We promote our commitment to Child Safe Standards and support our staff, volunteers and Committee of Management to maintain the standards through ongoing training and the establishment and continuous improvement of a child safe policy and supporting procedures.
